I am a student at Ōtaki College in Ōtaki, NZ. My blog is a place where I will be able to share some of my learning. Please note....some work won't be edited - they are just my first drafts, so there may be some errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas on my posts.

You have done a marvellous job creating these similes and incorporating them in a creative way onto your blog.I like your use of colours and asymmetry, it is ingenious.
Whenever I think of a slow runner, I think of the Tortoise and the Hare. The Tortoise was so slow, but he persevered and ended up winning a race against the speedy Hare. It goes to show that if you set your mind to it and work hard, you can do anything.
Can you think of any more similes? Perhaps one that doesn’t include an animal. Maybe one like ‘the rapids were as white as snow’.
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments. Positive - something done well Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
